Magic Show
All of it tricks and sleight of hand,
My audience is made of man,
A trade composed of pure deceit,
To fool them all, no easy feat.
The tears that should roll down my face,
Now disappear without a trace.
My fraud unnoticed, all the while,
I hide my sadness with a smile.
My act gets better day by day,
I've multitudes of cards to play,
I'll hide my sorrow in my deck,
And thus my ruse you won't suspect.
I pull laughter out of my hats,
Emotions fall through trapdoor mats,
The truth always kept tightly sealed,
Magicians' tricks can't be revealed.
